EMPOWERMENT BIBLE INSTITUTE AND SEMINARY IS AN INSTITUTION OF BIBLICAL AND THEOLOGICAL STUDY. EBIS OFFERS STUDENTS THE ABILITY TO PURSUE THEIR STUDIES BY A COURSE-BY-COURSE MANNER, ALLEVIATING EXCESSIVE FINANCIAL STRAIN AND MONTHLY PAYMENTS

DUE TO THE LOW COST OF TUITION OFFERED FOR OUR CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS EBIS ONLY OFFERS 6-MONTH PAYMENT PLANS FOR ALL CERTIFICATE AND DEGREE PROGRAMS.

ALL TUITION IS DUE BY THE FIRST OF EACH MONTH. STUDENTS WHO ARE MORE THAN 30 DAYS LATE PAYING THEIR TUITION WILL BE DROPPED FROM THEIR DEGREE PROGRAM. THE COST OF MATERIALS IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TUITION COST LISTED BELOW.

Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies

Credit Hours: 60

Prerequisites: High School Diploma or Equivalent

EBIS’s Biblical Studies Associate Degree (A.A.B.S.) is a two-year degree program that will provide you with a foundation for various ministry and missions positions, social service, or personal spiritual development. The curriculum emphasizes Christian values as part of every course. A key focus is spiritual formation — developing a Christ-centered character that is visible through servanthood to God and others.

Each student will be assigned an academic advisor to help him or her throughout this program.

A total of 60 semester hours are required, with a minimum of thirty semester hours from EBIS. A 2.5 GPA is required on a scale of 4.0. Each course is worth 3 semester hours.

Bachelor of Ministry

Credit Hours: 60

Prerequisites: Associate Degree or Equivalent

The Bachelor of Ministry (B.Min.) degree program is designed to prepare men and women to serve in Christian Ministry. It includes systematic study, wide reading and practical ministry education. The Bachelor of Ministry degree is a vocational, pre-professional degree, designed to transition the student into graduate-level theological education. The Bachelor of Ministry program consists of 120 credit hours, 30 of which must be from Vision International University. The student must complete the five core courses and select a ministry specialization for the remainder of their courses. As a vocational, pre-professional degree, the program does not require a minimum number of General Education credits, differentiating it from the Bachelor of Arts degree.

Prerequisites: Associate Degree or Equivalent

The Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) degree focuses on historical, systematic, and biblical theology. Professional ministry issues are not a focus of this program. Nevertheless, the program is designed to provide a theological foundation for ministerial service. The program consists of 20 courses, 3 semester credit hours each, for a total of 60 credit hours. The curriculum for this degree program is produced by some of the world’s top biblical scholars and theologians and serves persons who wish to explore disciplines within Christian theology.

Each student will be assigned an academic advisor to help him or her throughout this program.
